Bahamas

The Bahamas are located north of the Greater Antilles and southeast of Florida, technically the location of the Bahamas is in the North Atlantic Ocean, and not in the Caribbean, yet sometimes the Bahamas are encompassed as being islands of the Caribbean.

Nassau

Nassau is one of the most popular cruise ship ports in the Bahamas and is the capital of the Bahamas with rich colonial history. It also used to house many pirates and their ships serving as their own personal island to settle on. Just off of Nassau is Paradise Island which is home to the Atlantis Bahamas hotel and many other luxury resorts perfect for enjoying vacation life.

 

 

Exuma

One of the largest Islands found in an area consisting of over 365 islands, Exuma is home to the famous swimming pigs on beaches not so populated by tourists. Also, a part of the lesser Antilles, the US Virgin Islands, and the British Virgin Islands are separately owned and are completely different from each other. The US Virgin Islands have tons of entertaining attractions for families while the British Virgin Islands is more laid back and not as crowded. Not to mention the incredible rum!

 

Curacao, Turks and Caicos, Aruba

Another cluster of islands that are part of the lesser Antilles, these small islands are great intimate places for those who are wanting a quieter setting but also want to explore the ocean life. by sailing, diving, or snorkeling. There are small nightclubs, party boats, and enjoyable beach bonfires for anyone to enjoy.
